Season 1, Episode 11: ATC Advice with "Waterloo Jack" featuring Jack Parkin
Description
On this episode of the Flying Midwest Podcast, we talk with Air Traffic Controller Jack Parkin. We may have bestowed the nickname “Waterloo Jack” upon him, in the same vein as Kennedy Steve and Boston John. Jack talks to us about his path into controlling, the training involved, and upcoming FAA hiring opportunities. He will also answer some fan-submitted questions.
We also put Jack to the test with our newest guest segment, “The Alert Five.” We give our guest five rapid fire questions to see how quick they are on their feet with our random aviation/podcast related questions.
